Paige had her 4 month check up today. It went very well. She's now 13#7 and 25" tall. She had her first shot today. We decided to do DTaP first. I was expecting her to be very upset. The nurse gave her the shot while she was lying on the table. She didn't seem to notice anything at first, then she got a bit of a concerned look on her face and started kicking her legs. Then she noticed the awesome sound that the paper cover made when she kicked and got very excited that she could make it make noise. I picked her up and offered her milk, but the nurse was taking the paper off the table at the same time, and Paige just wanted to see the paper being crumpled up. So first shot - no crying, no nursing, no nothing. That's not what I expected. You go girl.
